The School day

After School Club

Billing Brook School runs an after school club two days a week (Monday and Tuesday) in term time. Sessions run from 3.30 - 5.30pm. We are fortunate enough to run this club with staff who know and work with pupils during the school day, which ensures continuity of care.

Activities range from sports games to art and craft activities. Pupils can change their clothes if they bring them from home and are offered a healthy snack and a drink during the session. Parents are asked to make a small contribution per session with contributions also being made from the school and Aiming High in Northamptonshire.

Play schemes

Billing Brook School runs their play scheme during most of the school holidays and is always very popular. We have a large team highly committed staff, to cater for the high number of children who attend. Staff are allocated to children according to school risk assessments, (with some children having one to one if necessary), to ensure the safety of children attending at all times.

Activities are planned around the needs of the children and usually include trips to the local community and have included, Swimming at a hydro pool, Cineworld in Northampton, Bowling, horse riding and trips to country parks within the county. We also offer a very wide range of games and activities when at school and have included cooking and art and craft activities.

Parents are asked to pay a fee per day (which includes admissions), with a further contribution from Billing Brook School funds and Aiming High in Northamptonshire.
